Onshore Pipeline Engineer - Leatherhead. Hybrid working 3 days office, 2 remote working
Leatherhead, SurreyOnshore Pipeline Engineer on various projects for an initial 12 month contract role that has an immediate start and a target limited company rate to man of circa £45.00 per hour.
Please note this is a junior role in support of the lead role that was recently filled.

Job Description
The candidate will be assist in studies, FEED and Detailed Design of onshore pipelines and associated facilities.
Including but not restricted to:
FEED and detailed design experience
Able to assist in the development pipeline installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance analysis and procedures
Experienced in the use of pipeline software (AutoCAD, Microstation, CAESAR II) is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required
Experience in the development of material requisitions and construction scopes of work
Experience working with Middle East clients is an advantage
Chartered engineer status preferred
Min 5 years experience in design of onshore pipelines
Degree

Familiarity with MathCAD
Familiarity with ArcGIS

- Pipeline route selection
- Mechanical design, i.e., wall thickness, stress analysis (CAESAR II experience) and expansion analysis
- Development of material specifications and data sheets
- Development of construction and inspection specifications
- Preparation of Pipeline EPC scopes of work
- Input to EPC schedules and Cost Estimate
FEED and detailed design experience
Able to assist in the development pipeline installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance analysis and procedures
Experienced in the use of pipeline software (AutoCAD, Microstation, CAESAR II) is preferred
