Naval Architect Installation - Top Sides - Leatherhead Surrey, Hybrid working
Leatherhead, SurreyWe have an urgent need for a Naval Architect Installation - Top Sides for an immediate start on our Leatherhead based UMID Installation Project.
This role is likely to be outside IR35 but the final decision will only be made after a Qdos assessment.
Hybrid working 3 days office 2 days home.
Job Description:
As a Technical Advisor Naval Architect you will provide engineering services and technical support for design and analysis related to floating and fixed offshore structures. This role has a strong emphasis in the installation of fixed offshore structures.
As the installation lead you will primarily provide support related to this discipline but may get involved in other areas of naval architecture. Specific responsibilities are likely to be focused on the installation of topsides modules by crane vessel but may also include jacket launch and set-down and the removal of flotation tanks. We will look to you to work as a team member, potentially with direct supervision of personnel within the group, as well as working independently in engineering analyses. The position requires an enthusiastic approach and a strong analytical background to be able to tackle the various challenges related to the installation of fixed structures.
