Senior Instrument Designer (S3D) on an LNG FEED - Leatherhead (hybrid working)
Leatherhead, SurreySenior Instrument Designer (S3D) on an LNG FEED Project for an initial 6 month contract role that has an immediate start and a target limited company rate to man of circa £45.00 per hour but would go to £50 for an exceptional candidate.
Leatherhead. Hybrid working 3 days office, 2 remote working
The role is likely to be outside IR35 but the final decision will be made after a Qdos assessment
Job Description
This role involves preparing various Instrumentation and Telecommunication engineering deliverables, such as block diagrams, location layouts, cable routing layouts, material take off, bill of materials, control room, and rack room layouts.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Proficient in 3D drafting software packages, specifically S3D.
Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, such as Electrical and Piping, to provide instrumentation and telecom inputs.
Ensure the quality of work within the group and supervise the Designer(s) reporting to you.
Adhere to company and project standards, procedures, and specifications.
Experience in coordinating with high-value Engineering Centres.
3D modelling experience and the ability to extract drawings from 3D models are advantageous.
