As a Senior Planner your main roles and responsibilities will include,
but not be limited to:
 Maintaining full familiarity with company policies, directives
and procedures and suggesting improvements to project
planning methods, procedures, and practices to the Chief
Engineer, Project Services.
 Developing the resource loaded project baseline schedule
and S-curve to monitor and report project progress, also
playing an active part in scope management.
 Creating project specific planning procedures where
necessary.
 Monitoring the Planning manhour spend against the budget on
assigned projects.
 Ensuring that the project planning network is set-up in such a
way that it can exchange information with the Electronic
Document Management System and SAP if required.
 Maintaining full familiarity with all relevant software
applications associated with planning (including relevant
parts of the EDMS if required).
 Assisting in preparation of proposals and making
presentations to clients.

Candidate's
qualifications,
professional
experience and skills
required for the
position

 Relevant experience as a Planning Engineer in the O&G
industry, particularly with operating companies. Experience
would preferably include offshore, onshore and pipelines
projects.
 Mastery of Primavera P6, MS Project and MS Office suite is
essential.
 An undergraduate degree in an Engineering subject would be
preferable.
Expected Duration 12 months minimum
