Senior Engineer, Planning Permanent role based in Basingstoke

Salary of £75000

Maintaining full familiarity with company policies, directives and procedures and suggest improvements to project planning methods, procedures, and practices to Department Chief.
Creating project specific planning procedures where necessary and ensure procedures are followed by all members of the planning team.
Assisting in preparation of proposals and make presentations to clients as directed by the Department Chief.
Maintaining full familiarity with all relevant software applications associated with planning (including relevant parts of the EDMS and SAP if required).
Providing supervision, advice, and guidance to other planning engineers on matters of a planning nature as appropriate to assigned position.
Ensuring that the project planning network is set-up in such a way that it can exchange information with the Electronic Document Management System and SAP if required.
Maintaining familiarity of allocated manhours for planning activities and number of manhours used to date. Advise Department Chief of future manpower requirements making every effort to stay within budget.
