We require a Piping Engineer to work in Delhi, India immediately mobilised from Basingstoke on a short term business trip (up to six months)

Please advise availability and an idea of rate required.
 
Arrangements:
  • Services initially supplied on an Agency Basis
  • Single status
  • Trip home (paid flights) after three months.  Travel days to and from Delhi (mob, demob and interim travel) are both paid days (outbound and inbound) @ 8hrs
  • Accommodation & expenses provided. 
  • Travel & Medical Insurance paid for and included
Before the completion of 6 months, there is likely to be a transfer into a long term 12 month assignment

Lead Piping engineer
 
Position to be filled Lead Piping engineer responsible for all applicable technical document reviews, discipline approvals and Contractor overview for Piping and layout design  
Experience expected Significant experience of leading the piping design activity on similar projects or of review and approval of the electrical design on similar projects.  
Previous areas of experience required to fulfil the position to include some of the following or closely related areas Discipline piping layout design, piping specifications, stress and supports engineering, Detail engineering of systems and packages,  experience with PDMS,  Smartplant, Caesar II, 3D – model reviews
Use of Company and international standards
 
Detail engineering execution and field installation or operations or commissioning experience or vendor.
Technologies, any of: Gas Compression,  Gas processing, LNG, Refinery, utilities, Power generation.
Location for position Contractor office as owner’s engineer for detail engineering execution  
Duration of position expected 9-12 months  
Start date ASAP Induction & Handover in Basingstoke before travel to India proposed
Project Notes OCTP ORF consists of a standalone gas compression station built on a greenfield site with independent utilities preparation including power, water, nitrogen, air.
Gas feed to the plant is exported from offshore FPSO and may also be imported from a GNGC pipeline. Compressed gas is exported to GNGC gas pipeline.
Early works for the site is underway and the long lead compressor & GT drive contract is already awarded to Siemens-Dresser (2 trains).
