Junior Treasury Officer

Reports to: Finance and Control Manager

Purpose:
To support the Treasury Officer in recording and booking all Treasury transactions for client including FX transactions. To ensure that monthly bank reconciliations are prepared and reported in line with the group reporting deadlines.

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
The incumbent is able to perform the following tasks in relation for EME and its branches : - Assist with the preparation and updating of daily cash flow ensuring that all treasury transactions are correctly recorded in SAP. - Assist in checking the bank statements daily and resolving any variances. - Preparation of logistic and Financial invoices with correct approvals and documentation - Facilitate treasury payments on the online banking systems when required ensuring timely payment and accuracy - Assist in preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and arrange sign off from appropriate managers - Preparation of treasury reports for company and group reporting - Identify short term funding requirements and ensure that appropriate action is taken in liaison with Treasury Officer and Treasury Coordinator. - Updating of Master Data in SAP in line with contracts. - Guarantee full compliance with company and group procedures, operating instructions and management guidelines with regards to the treasury activity (Ani Money Laundering and Reference Check Lists. - Provide support during audit activities - Assist in ad-hoc project work and other responsibilities as appropriate.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience of banking systems - Experience in similar Treasury organisation - Experience with SAP or similar ERP system - Advanced MS Office skills - 2 to 3 years Treasury experience
