Mechanical Rotating Equipment Engineer on an PorcessPlant Project for an initial 12 month contract role that has an immediate start and a target limited company rate to man of circa £60.00 per hour PLEASE ADVISE IF HIGHER RATE SOUGHT

Location is Leatherhead (base) with occasional travel to Contractors in Seoul and Milan, Client in Vienna and Kallo site (Belgium).

Preferred is hybrid working pattern when in Leatherhead of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Remote working would be consider for exceptional candidate

The role is likely to be outside IR35 but the final decision will be made after a Qdos assessment

Job Description

Our client intends to build a new stand-alone sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and hydro processed vegetable oil (HVO) unit including a feed pre-treatment facility at the Borealis site in Kallo, Belgium. The client has requested a PMC to be provided to support their team.
The primary aim is to provide expertise to assist with CAPEX reduction and an increased rate of return. The client and PMC teams will  evaluate the scope development of licensors, technology and service providers as well as engineering integrator.
The rest of the work will be typical PMC. Work including
Work includes
a.     Supporting Engineering Partners and Licensors in developing all engineering deliverables to ensure a safe process unit fully integrated into the relevant refinery site.
b.    Reviewing of engineering documentation from Licensor / Engineering partner.
c.    Attend meetings.
d.    Provide progress reports.

Requirements
1.   Required – previous KBR experience.
2.   Preferred - Experience working as a PMC or for a client.
3. Required - Knowledge and experience of providing rotating machinery for the European market including machinery directives, ATEX and CE marking.
4.  A specialist and detailed knowledge of the major machinery types such as centrifugal compressors, pumps, and gas/steam turbines will be required. A working knowledge of API industry standards for machinery is required
